The Impact of the Legal Status of Tobacco and E-Cigarette Products on Consumer Behavior
In this video with Belgi Turan from the Economic Research Agenda Association, we explore how the legal status of tobacco and e-cigarette products influences consumer perception and behavior. This study seeks to answer fundamental questions about how legality shapes risk perception in society, the role of legality in social acceptance, and its capacity to guide consumer behaviors, providing critical insights for public health.
This study was funded with a grant from Global Action to End Smoking (formerly known as Foundation for Smoke-Free World), an independent, U.S. nonprofit 501(c)(3) grantmaking organization, accelerating science-based efforts worldwide to end the smoking epidemic.
